The Snake

 

I am the snake

I am often seen as a bad omen or the devil's helper

And therefore fepicted as that of a demon

 

My venom is poiseness

And fangs that are lethal

However I shall not harm you if you leave me in peace

 

I can move easily in the water

Diving in almost unnoticed

But I still make ripples

That go farther than I can ever guess

The ripples are the only thing that signal that I do exist

 

I can blend in with my surroundings

And slither around to hide

Only a keen eye and a sence of smell are able to find me

 

For they are my sisters

And together we protect one another

 

The crow has flight and understanding

And the wolf has strength and loyalty

 

And I am the mere snake

Able to live in hiding and secrecy
